What inspired you to pursue a career as a mobile developer and what keeps you going?
The manner that mobile development has advanced with the Flutter Framework is what most motivated me to seek a career in this field. I do a lot of exploring, and I’m constantly eager to learn and adopt any new advancements in my field.
As a mobile developer, what attracted you to TekRevol?
The environment and opportunity to contribute new advancements to the organization that TekRevol provides for development appealed to and motivated me the most as a mobile developer.
Can you walk us through your usual day at TekRevol?
I like to start each day with a cup of coffee and go over my schedule to make sure any calls or meetings I have are top of mind and I get any prep work for those done first thing. Then, I usually answer my emails while I’m still fresh. I like to make sure I’m giving any warm leads my fullest, clearest, attention so I generally jump to those conversations first and reply right away or take the immediate actions I need to get them the answers to any questions they have. Then I check my Slack messages and reply accordingly to cold contacts that yielded responses. After that, I usually spend any remaining free time before lunch in development researching prospects. After lunch, I typically have a cup of coffee and spend the rest of the time chatting with my coworkers. After that, it’s time for some fun development, which I do the entire day barring any crucial meetings. As the day comes to an end, I organize my tasks for the following day and shut down the computer.
What is the best part of being a mobile developer?
Being a mobile developer is best due to the industry’s fastest-growing sector. The prevalence of smartphones means that you’ll always be learning about the intricate inner workings of mobile operating systems.
What guidance would you offer a mobile developer that is just getting started?
If you just have started the Mobile/Flutter development there are couple of things I recommend.
- Learning and exploring the framework is the first essential thing.
- Read more, code less.
- Try spending more time in learning the core concepts of the development.
- Explore widgets & learn simple state management.
- Choosing and learning the right & clean project structure is most important.
- Join the right communities.
Which practices or personal qualities do you think are most essential for success?
Success comes through patience. It is the most essential thing you have to develop for both personal and professional success. Enhance your communication and interpersonal skills. Take a moment to reflect before making any decisions or taking any action to ensure that you are making the best choice possible at the correct time. This will increase your chances of success. The key to success is to share your knowledge with others and pass it on to younger generations by becoming open to new advancements and technologies. When you attain real success, that is when you will feel it.
