Abeer Raza, co-founder and CMO Tekrevol, recently appeared on the Culture& podcast to talk about how crucial culture is in organizations. He talks about an oxymoron called individualistic collectivism, wherein in order to substantiate your goals or move further down the progress path as an individual, you have to think about the collective and add value to it. This applies to everyone, for example, if you’re seeking personal growth, it goes hand in hand with organizational growth.
Abeer also opens up about creating an organizational culture that employees truly feel like they belong to and can devote themselves to. By being transparent and authentic, you can get like-minded individuals on-board who share the same vision and determination as you do. This helps create the ultimate dream team that works tirelessly for your cause.
Abeer concludes the podcast by advising leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs to start working on themselves from day one. He says that you don’t have to wait till you get time, start making small changes and take out time for your own personal development every day. Change doesn’t happen overnight, it’s years in the making.
