Client's Brief
The brief here was simple, the client wanted a platform which served as an integrated marketplace for the purpose of buying and selling of catalytic converters.
Unlike other platforms we’ve developed thus far, this time around the client had a very clear set of goals that it needed the platform to attain.
In the initial brief, the client shared that this platform should be a place where anyone could know the current market price of catalytic converters, search for them via things like serial numbers, make or build, each inventory item needs to be accompanied by photos that can be swiped left or right for easier viewing and a calculator that provides estimated cost of a catalytic converter based on existing market rates.
The brief allowed us to have a basic but firm understanding of what was needed in the platform, allowing us to modify and create features suited to fit the needs of the client.
The Problem
Catalytic converters are not a common commodity and people who own it know that the niche nature of their product makes it difficult for them to sell or buy them easily when the requirement arises.
People did have ebay and other similar marketplace platforms through which they could intend to trade in catalytic converters, but since this product has it’s own vagaries, such non-custom marketplaces didn’t serve the purpose right.
This problem had been around for way too long and required a custom, integrated solution to get through and that’s exactly what Tekrevol did with the assistance of it’s client.
Tekrevol's Solution
Tekrevol got the initial scope and started to lay out the initial framework for the platform.
Our goal was simple here; we needed to provide the platform with all the functionalities that client wanted but in a way that users coming to this platform would be able to easily interact with all the features.
The final platform consisted of multiple layers and aspects that made the platform inherently functional and able to serve all the purposes required off of it.
The platform had a sign up feature, an internal sales and purchase area, a live market rate option on the homepage and an internal user lab intended to update current rates and update inventory lists.

Arrow Recovery was designed with a single, core purpose of facilitating the transactions related to Catalytic Converters. This is a very niche industry, there were not a lot of platforms previously where such transactions could take place so smoothly.
The Arrow Recovery platform provides a smooth and integrated platform for users to generate market rates for used and new catalytic converters. Users can easily search, buy or sell their catalytic converters or know about live rates of platinum, palladium and rhodium.
But to perform these tasks by facilitating maximum user ease, the platform has a wide variety of special features, designed specifically to ensure that every aspect of the platform is easy to understand:
