Soundly has revolutionized the way people experience music.Designed to enable music lovers to stream millions of songs from new artists through the app, the Soundly app lets you save songs for later by creating countless playlists, uploading your own tracks, supporting your favorite artists, and experiencing a next-gen technology and music collaboration in perfect harmony.
Client’s Expectations
The client wanted a platform that could unlock the true experience of music through modern technologies by ensuring the delivery of an even more immersive listening experience than what is currently available in the market.
The idea was based not only on building a revolutionary entertainment app but also on ensuring predictive, user-friendly, and seamless navigation and controls that would let the users instantly tap their way to their favorite songs coming directly from new artists or upload their songs.
The Tekrevol team was chosen to build the app's design and functionality from scratch.
In the fewest possible words, here's what the client wanted in his mobile application:
- A clean and interactive UI/UX that reflects music from the moment the user opens the app.
- Easy and minimalist representation of options, navigation,screens, and more.
- Features such as an equalizer, profile and playlist creation, sound recommendations based on preference, and more were integrated.
- Online payment functionality integration for effective processing of donations.
The Challenge
The challenge was discovering the differentiating factor required to set the Soundly app apart from other competitors. Team Tekrevol had to develop innovative ideas to build a revolutionary interface for the app. Also, the app's functionality and features needed to be reimagined and designed to bring a whole new experience to the market.The comprehensive market research and scoping sessions were to be initiated from the get-go to come up with something that would ensure the app's success in the competitive marketplace.
The Solution
Engaging in the development and designing of the product, Tekrevol's dedicated team leveraged the streamlined technologies to support the primary features of the Soundly application. While the technologies were being reiterated and integrated, the design team created a unique and highly engaging UI/UX of the application.
During the development phase, the imperative features, i.e., profile creation, playlist option, offline music listening, donating option, and other critical features, were integrated and tested by the quality assurance team to ensure that the app functioned marvelously.
The three phases – development, designing, and quality assurance were efficiently implemented. By the end of the process, a fully functional mobile application was represented to the client.
